Dr. David Klee (DMA in Flute Performance) shares a variety of musical talents with you in this UA-cam channel. I’m going into 8th grade this year, and this is one of the solos my band teacher said I could do for my NYSSMA solo (look it up!) this year as a level 4. He’s never taught this song before, so being able to hear it played how it should be has been really helpful for me! Thank you!

Good question! I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. Most of my extended family live in that area. David

I use the same technique when I perform live. In fact I just performed live a few weeks and I used a Shure SM 58 directly at my mouth. Take care! David

how did you realize the play along part?
Hi! What I do is first look for a MIDI file of the music. If I cannot find one then I create it by playing/sequencing the piano part on my keyboard. Then I add strings and piano to it. I have my own small recording studio where I can do all of this. David

GUYS I NEED HELP!!! My G key is playing a F# and I have a concert in a week and a half. I have no idea why it is doing that and no tutorial is helping me. I have no time to take it to the repair shop because it takes about 3 weeks since where I live theres only one music store in the whole territory. SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASEEE😭😭😭😭
Hello! Look over the right hand of the flute where your F and F# key is and on the back of the flute where the mechanism is look to see if you have a spring that is off. If not then look at your G key and see if it is slightly bent where it is affecting the right hand of the flute. That is a good starting point to check your flute. Let me know the results of your exploration. DK
